Not your average photobooth, this photo novelty is set up in a closed 8×8 foot area that includes a 360º camera suspended from the ceiling of the booth. Groups enter and within seconds, a complete 360º snapshot is taken of the entire group. Our special software then flattens the image and produces a 5″ x 7″ photo that’s printed onsite. The background can be customized with logos or other backgrounds giving your guests a great souvenir from the event!

DANCE HEADS
If you’re looking for engagement at your party…you’ll have a line to this one! Dance Heads is an amusement that superimposes participants’ heads onto professional dancers’ bodies while they lip sync to some of the greatest pop hits of all time. The Amusement Master’s Virtual Graffiti wall is most definitely unique entertainment, interactive and produces a really cool photo party favor. The screen allows event guests to interact and add ‘graffiti’ to a green screened photo of themselves. When adding ‘virtual’ graffiti to the screen guests use the special infrared spray paint cans to virtually draw on their own photos or custom background and make giant works of art. It’s true that many carnival themed events are targeted for a younger audience and categorized as outdoor, picnic-type events. In 2014 we had the opportunity to work with a client in creating a custom event called ‘Carnival of Curiosities’ for their corporate guests. By embracing a black and red color scheme it gave a darker and more mysterious twist to the standard red and white carnival palette. Throughout the event we created custom midway games. As guests won games they were rewarded with tickets that they could then redeem for a multitude of prizes at the Prize Booth. In addition to midway games there were also interactive amusement games, like ‘Whack-A-Mole’ and jumbo ‘Connect Four’ to keep guests entertained and mingling. It was a custom experience that those that attended won’t forget any time soon!

Virtual Hero For Your Next Event

One of the newest forms of entertainment for special events is incorporating gamification into event activities. Amusement Masters is proud to be a pioneer of this new trend by offering gamification opportunities to clients through a suite of virtual and customizable games called Virtual Hero. The term gamification refers to an incorporation of social and reward aspects into an activity. We Played At Eventeract!

This Spring we were honored to be a major sponsor for the Eventeract conference in it’s inaugural year. Produced by the Georgia Chapter Meeting Planners Association (GaMPI), the conference was geared towards engaging the meeting and special events planner. The partnership was win-win; it gave Amusement Masters the opportunity to showcase to an audience of planners and it gave attendees two days of play that enhanced the learning experience.

On both conference days Amusement Masters maintained a booth on the expo floor. This gave us an ideal space for meeting with attendees and giving them a small taste of our game and amusement inventory. Our booth was Western inspired and featured the Wild West Quick Draw, our Western Shootout arcade game and our newest game, “Hit The Hero.” The decor was straight from the Wild West with western fencing and barrel decor items. We even brought in comfortable leather seating for guests looking to kick back and take a load-off as they made their way through the expo.

On the first evening of the conference we placed games throughout the conference’s signature fundraiser “The Gathering.” The event theme was “Back to the 80’s.” We loved this theme because it opened the door to bring in a variety of 1980’s Arcade Games and Pinball Machines, our Classic Strip Photo Booth and our new 2014 Instagram Interactive Booth. All in all, Amusement Masters helped keep the 80’s vibe alive that night.

World Water Day – Games CAN Make A Difference!

Did you know that the world’s second biggest killer of children is together, unclean water and poor sanitation?

For more than 20 years countries around the world have observed World Water Day on March 22. It’s scary, but the United Nations estimates that by 2030 parts of the planet could be tapped out of water suitable for consumption. Currently close to half of all people in developing countries suffer, at any given time, from a health problem caused by water and sanitation deficits.

What can we do, you ask? At Amusement Masters we believe that our passion for games CAN make a difference. We’re proud to announce that we’re an active participant in the Safe 2 SERV project – a SERV International initiative currently deploying up to 100 water filtration systems annually throughout the world. Through this initiative something as simple as $65 can provide water for a family of five for up to ten years!

In promoting the Safe 2 SERV project we’ve developed a way for communities, corporate teams and schools to adopt this initiative and have fun doing it. Event professionals, producers and planners around the world have always found The Special Event (TSE) conference to be an invaluable resource for education, networking and creative solutions. Since 1985 professionals in the field of special events have mingled and learned from an array of industry leaders sharing their knowledge. This year, TSE will be held in Nashville, Tennessee at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.
