Spring Fiesta At Amusement Masters

At Amusement Masters we always have a reason to party and PLAY! But last Thursday we had an extra special reason…our annual open house! And for this year’s theme we decided to continue the celebration of Cinco de Mayo with our own “Spring Fiesta”!

Clients, our favorite vendors, friends and family that attended were showered with games, prizes, food and fun. For guests visiting the Amusement Masters warehouse for the first time the visit afforded them a chance to take an expanded look at the range of entertainment and amusements we offer for special events. Inventory we highlighted during the event included our Zippin Zone Zip Line (200 feet long), Hit the Hero lounge, Mind Winder, Fruit Ninja, Buck Hunter 3-D, Black light billiards, air hockey and foosball, our newest Instagram booth, a carnival trailer and our Golden Tee Unplugged.

Keeping the party energized was music by DJ Flu. And throughout the warehouse and backlot we had beautiful decor provided by Eventscapes, CCP Events, Inc., The Mants Estate & Added Pizzazz and Plant Peddler. The backlot guest seating tent and tables were provided by Classic Tents & Events and chairs by Peachtree Tents & Events. The really fun spandex table linens were provided by Spandex Rentals. And in keeping with our Cinco de Mayo theme, a delicious spread at Mexican “small bites” stations was served by Simply Catering. Complimentary to their catering menu was Sangria and Margaritas served by Cool Daddy’s Frozen Drink & Entertainment. And to top it all off was an additional treat for guests…a Dippin’ Dots ice cream station. If you haven’t heard, we now offer Dippin’ Dots with our carnival and festival event services!

World Water Day – Games CAN Make A Difference!

Did you know that the world’s second biggest killer of children is together, unclean water and poor sanitation?

For more than 20 years countries around the world have observed World Water Day on March 22. It’s scary, but the United Nations estimates that by 2030 parts of the planet could be tapped out of water suitable for consumption. Currently close to half of all people in developing countries suffer, at any given time, from a health problem caused by water and sanitation deficits.

What can we do, you ask? At Amusement Masters we believe that our passion for games CAN make a difference. We’re proud to announce that we’re an active participant in the Safe 2 SERV project – a SERV International initiative currently deploying up to 100 water filtration systems annually throughout the world. Through this initiative something as simple as $65 can provide water for a family of five for up to ten years!

In promoting the Safe 2 SERV project we’ve developed a way for communities, corporate teams and schools to adopt this initiative and have fun doing it. For less than the cost of booking a team building game or scavenger hunt with Amusement Masters you can book a Safe 2 SERV kit. For a nominal fee you can purchase water filtration buckets that your organization decorates with inspiring messages and that SERV International distributes to communities in need.

A recent successful use of our Safe 2 SERV kit was for the University of Florida who purchased a kits for their charity night of “Gators Give Back.” Fourteen bucket kits were beautifully decorated and returned for distribution around the world to provide clean drinking water for fourteen families…for the next ten years. We love that SERV International has made global change personal and we’re proud to be part of this movement!

Amusement Masters in Booth #703 at The Special Event 2014

Event professionals, producers and planners around the world have always found The Special Event (TSE) conference to be an invaluable resource for education, networking and creative solutions. Since 1985 professionals in the field of special events have mingled and learned from an array of industry leaders sharing their knowledge. This year, TSE will be held in Nashville, Tennessee at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. From January 8-10th there will be over 100 educational sessions, an exhibit floor and six showcase events. We’re proud to announce that Amusement Masters will be in attendance and exhibiting on the tradeshow floor with many of the leading companies in our industry.

For those attending, you won’t want to miss visiting and playing with us at booth #703. By visiting the booth attendees can register to play our new online and interactive “Hit The Hero” game – a CLOUD BASED interactive game. Once registered all scores are tallied and tracked each time an attendee plays throughout the conference. On the final day – one hour before the exhibit floor closes – we’ll announce the person that has the highest score – this winner will be taking home their very own Kindle Fire!

Game Girl Wins An ISES Esprit Award

2013 Esprit Win

Amusement Masters is proud to announce that we are a recent recipient of a prestigious 2013 Esprit Award from the International Special Events Society (ISES) in the category of Best Entertainment Production Budget Under $25,000. Since 1999 we’ve been a special event company providing amusements and interactive event entertainment. While having been nominated for an Esprit Award many times over the years we’ve considered ourselves the “Susan Lucci of Esprits” until finally winning and bringing home an award this August at the Esprit Awards ceremony held at ISES Live in Nassau, Bahamas.

Providing comprehensive interactive solutions for a diverse range of clients nationwide is what we do. We’re still beaming from ear to ear having won this 2013 Esprit for the Texas corporate event titled “A Texas Sized Grand Opening” that we participated in planning and providing signature entertainment for. Happy New Year!

Welcome 2012!   I hope all of my fans had a fabulous holiday season and an awesome new year!   2011 was a great year, but I am totally ready now to move forward with some awesome new games.    First up – the Zippin’ Zone.    Yup, that’s right – Amusement Masters now has a mobile zipline that will officially debut in March.   But for now, here’s a quick teaser:

It’s fully adjustable from 100’ to 200’ in distance – so the footprint can be adjusted to fit any event.   The Zippin Zone uses the same patented auto-belay system as our rock walls for the ultimate in safety.  Book it for your next event and see if you have what it takes to step off the platform 30’ in the air and experience the ultimate thrill!

Carnival Themes – not just for picnics anymore!

So I am sure a lot of my followers think that the carnival them is limited to outdoor, picnic-type events.   Well, I am here to tell you that is absolutely not true!  In reality, the carnival theme is one of the most versatile options out there…suiting everything from amazing Mitzvahs to Grand Opening Celebrations to a Vendor Fair.   So the next time you are planning an event, consider the fun of the old fashioned carnival theme!

On June 15, 2011 we were honored to partner with The Tabernacle as they hosted an open house showcase. It was a great night filled with awesome food courtesy of Gloriosa, photography by Ben Rose and of course, an assortment of our awesome interactive games.  The Tabernacle is a great venue for our entire blacklight collection – especially if you are hosting an event downstairs in the Cotton Club.   And the LED Dance Floor is a perfect additional to any events hosted here as well.
