Event professionals, producers and planners around the world flock to The Special Event (TSE) conference year after year – finding it to be an invaluable resource for education, networking and creative conversation with others in the industry. Since 1985 professionals in the field of special and live events have mingled and learned from an array of industry leaders sharing their knowledge. This year, TSE will be held in one of our most favorite client and event cities, New Orleans! Conference education sessions and the much-anticipated exhibit hall will be conveniently hosted by the  Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

From January 30 to February 1st there will be over 100 educational sessions, an exhibit floor (where you can stop by to see us!) and several showcase events that attendees won’t want to miss. We’re thrilled to announce that this year Amusement Masters is a leading sponsor for the conference and will have our team both in attendance of the conference and exhibiting on the exhibit floor with many other leading companies in the special and live events industry.

Make Your Event “The Greatest Show on Earth!”

The Greatest Showman HeaderThe Greatest Showman, starring Hugh Jackman as the legendary P.T. Barnum, premiered on December 8, 2017 with all the glamour and style worthy of the Greatest Show on Earth. The musical film tells the story of the world-famous circus and rise of P.T. Barnum from his humble beginnings as the son of a tailor, to becoming the owner of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. With the movie’s success, we’re seeing that its original music and circus regalia is inspiring a fun trend in party and event themes. Here are just a few ways to incorporate circus inspiration into your next event:

Issue invitations to your event with a “circus ticket”. Encourage guests to join in the fun by wearing bright clothing with large polka dots, bow ties, and tulle skirts. Amusement Masters red and white stripped carnival tents added to the mix are an inviting way for guests to immerse themselves in the experience. Rent an Amusement Masters snow cone or cotton candy machine. Kids love to create custom snow cones by mixing flavors and spiked snow cones are also a fun twist for adults. Adding cotton candy in fun, fruity flavors is an affordable circus themed treat.

What’s New In Games For 2017?!!

It’s a brand new year! We love the beginning of a new year because it gives us a chance to reflect on the past and gear up for the future. To take inventory of what our clients are loving, but also consider what they’d like to see more of. It’s an exciting time at Amusement Masters’ as it’s ‘out with the old, and in with the new!’

If we were to choose one-word that describes new games and amusements being added to inventory this year it would be ‘innovative.’ Technology driven games have made their way into events and we’re beyond excited to bring those entertainment options to you. From virtual reality systems, to thrilling race courses and physical challenges (like the Adrenalator), we’ve added loads of new inventory that we can’t wait to bring to events across the United States!
